Concert AMV?

I think it would be cool if someone made an amv with a Rock song (live)
and it would be like a rock concert anime style, you know?

I tried doing this, but the only anime i know where there's a band playing is Gravitation and that wasn't quite enough footage for what i had in mind...

So if anyone's intrested, it would be really cool if it happened!

If not, maybe someone can tell me some animes about music (like Gravitation) and i will try again!

Well, I'd like to do it, even if I have doubts - if I ever get my hands on enough footage like this at some point.

There are some similar things being done; but what worries me is that just people playing music isn't enough for a good AMV. Combining it with some more dramatic departures would and does work though - hell, look at MTV videos. Most good ones that feature a band playing usually intersperse it with some other cool, if unrelated videos.

I think there was a thread here before about instrument footage in anime. Look it up, I'm sure it'll help.

Myself, I'd like to do a video like this, but mine would be weird, as usual

Yeah with a big projector or a real good one and a flat wall or screen, and the band playing around it with the lights and the music, and the amv playing in sync with the band, that would be pretty cool, I'm sure that sorta thing will become more mainstream if nothing.

look for a AMV called "Evangelion Opus" if you've not seen that already, it's the Eva AMV that was done to a live performance of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. the real one with Freddy Mercury. aside from that, not all that sure

Eh, live music in AMV's is not that surprising (exactly half of my AMV's use live-recorded tracks right now).

Now, if Eva Opus had some guitars

"Evangelion Opus" looks nothing like a rock concert.
