Do any of you save your RAW footage?

That's exactly what I do! :D

But then I don't keep the huffy files of the final video but make a high quality mpeg2 that is about half the size of the original huffy. I have all of my videos on a hard drive and burned on a DVD for backup. When I convert the high quality mpeg2 into a huffy, it would be about the same size as the original huffy with no visual difference. This helps cut down on space on the hard drive while keeping high quality originals, even with the backups on a dvd.

*eventually I will make a dvd with all my work :roll:

x2. I save all my Premiere projects and just re-rip the source, saves endless HD space. It's only a problem if my DVD drive stops working, you know, like right now.
