Nevermind, "I'll Stop The World and Melt With You" was Modern English, not The Cure. Still a good idea for an Eva video, considering the way in which the series ended.

It wouldn't be a good lyric-for-lyric sync, but the overall theme really works should you have a more abstract idea in mind.

Hard driving music: Henry Rollins - Liar!
Rollins band has some original hard hitting lyrics, and a rough pseudo punk/Metal feel to it.

Ironic yet appropriate: Garth Brooks - I'm much too young to feel this damm old.
Country songs are underused, and yet contain so much versimilitude.

Something original and workable:Nancy Sinatra - Bang bang (my baby shot me dead)
This was the opening song of the original Kill Bill movie

Instrumental guitar work of the gods: Steve Vai, or Eric Johnson. Some early Van Halen intros could work as well.
These three guys represent a pinnacle of guitar skill virtually unmatched.
