If I had to make this video (Pink Floyd songs aren't my favorites), at gunpoint, I'd use a combination of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi and some Excel Saga filler, for lyric sync. I didn't see a lyric in there that these two shows couldn't sync, at least partially.

I actually always thought that "Not Now John" would be an awesome song to go with Evangelion. Shinji as "John", Gendou as whatever persona Roger Waters was talking through at the time, that grossly overused scene with Miasato and her beer can for the "where's the fuckin' bar" lines (you might do better to skip that last thought, come to think of it). There's plenty of fodder for the rest of the lines, and the mechanical scenes of working on the Eva units or when Seele sends the UN (or whoever it was) in on Nerv with those descending armored things would work well for the mechanical-sounding parts on the "compete with those wiley Japanese" lines.

Or maybe trying to combine the artistic genius (and bloated egos) of Waters and Anno would be a bit much. Won't know until someone tries.
