80GB is far enough to make an amv, apparently the problem is not the size of your drive, but a limitation of FAT32 formatted drives.
So do as AbsoluteDestiny said : you can export in several pieces that are smaller than 4GB with virtualDub.

but isn't more than 4 gigas for one DBZ episodes way too much?
for now i'm using a codec called "3ivx" and it works perfectly for me

size is good(as big as the original but without sound)
quality stays the same!!!
and premiere works fine with it.
that works for me!!!!

Okay, at 720x480 and 24 FPS, using maximum compression options, I'm getting around 1 Gigabyte per every 3 minutes.

If anything, your files might be too small

Do you understand the concept of a "lossless" codec?
