Would you please tell me what you think of this idea?

After watching 'Kill Bill', I got the soundtrack. I particularly liked the song Bang Bang. After listening to it a few times, I began to visualize guns being fired to the sound of the word 'Bang'. After a while of this, I began to visualize guns from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I decided that it would be interesting to turn my visualizations into an NGE AMV. Since Bang Bang is a love song, I decided to include scenes of Misato Katsuragi and Ryoji Kaji. What do you guys think of the idea of a 2:39 NGE AMV to the tune of Bang Bang staring Misato and Kaji with a lot of guns being fired?

I'm not really trying to make a great video, just show a bunch of Misato/Kaji scenes and time gunshots to the music. I haven't seen many AMVs. I'm not making this video to impress people; it's more like an idea that I want to bring to life. I've already heard the song an amount of times that is in the triple digits, so that's not a problem. Because Bang bang is 2:39, will that cause problems? I understand that most AMVs are four minutes long. I'm also not going to compose the entire thing using one-second-long clips. Is that an abnormal choice? The video I have in mind and the song are gentle and soft. Because they are emotional and touching instead of impressive and exciting, do you think that no one will like it?

...Yup, that's all I wanted to ask of you guys, I guess, to tell me if my idea sounds okay or not.

I knida like the song so I would say go for it, but I think you should wait to hear what the NGE fans have to say about it.

Yeah. I almost never find any Eva vids out there, so I figured I would be doing something really original. Either that, or I was missing all the EVA vids, and no one had done anything my idea because it wasn't a good one. I'm a big Eva fan myself, and I'm enthusiastic about this idea, so maybe there might be a chance that others will feel the same way...

I’m jus waiting around for opinions, I guess. This seems to be a kind of dead topic ;_; I've already started making the vid, in case you're wondering, but I'm stuck on the AviSynth part...>_<

Eva is by no means underused.

Holy...aw man. This makes me really sad about not being able to view AMVs yet. All those AMVs on my favorite series...and I can't see them...not only that, but it's more popular than I thought? That makes me feel kinda bad =/ ...it feels like my g.irlfriend is being r.aped...
