Mars Volta song for Evangelion

Ok maybe I'm stretching it here, but I heard this song "Telavators" from the band Mars Volta if you want you can listen to it and see the video from their website http://themarsvolta.com/index_main.html
though despite the video having an eva like creaturem (if you see it you'll se what I mean) I think it takes away from the song-- you need a really good recording to here the feeling behind the song.

Ok anyways to the point. I think this song would be a near perfect match for a video with Evangelion as long as you don't concentrate on one character. If you focus on the series as a whole I think a great video can be made from this song. Read the lyrics below, but know that they are not limited to this, if you here the song you'll realize the the chorus plays a bigger role in certain sections.

It's hard to explain why I feel this why, I just thought of Eva after listening to this song (don't watch the video for this song if you don't have to).

Well, a lot of MV would work very well for Eva. I don't know if he still is, but my brother was thinking of using Eriatarka from the same album for an Eva AMV.

Frankly, I don't know if it would come off as all that original with Eva; but I'm all for Mars Volta AMV's 100%. I think I've only seen one thus far.
