I have never liked that clip, not once since the first time I saw it (in "Macho Macho Vash" by More Than Toast). There's just something about the way his face is drawn that really grates with me; I think it's the lips.Sephiroth wrote:Two words. Vash Dancing.
And yet I would probably use it in a Trigun video if the lyrics mentioned dancing.

I've honestly thought about putting Vash dancing at the end of all my videos, just so that if it ever got played at a convention... it would be almost guaranteed to win.
But then I remembered I care too much about my videos to do that. And that I don't really care if my videos win anything.
And I agree, Scintilla, I think it is the lips that bugs me.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Quiet cannon has a very good point. Show it to WHO. I wached vids for years before I met someone who had even seen an AMV. So for a lot of people, the person you show it to will have as comparison... nothing! If they don't have experience with *some* kind of editing and you have problems that they can solve, then you need to put a little more effort into the video.

Since actions speak louder then words. This is what i'm talking about. Made it just to show in an action what's hard to put into words or would take so much writing as to exactly why i think some things.

Downloaded it as soon as I saw it was the "New Vid on the Block", actually... perhaps I can learn a thing or two from it about pleasing the masses, seeing as how I still have yet to win any audience-voted awards.Sephiroth wrote:Since actions speak louder then words.
