Sorry I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but here goes. Is it against the rules, and does anyone actually download their own AMVs to boost their numbers? I haven't myself nor do I plan to because it takes to much time to bother. Just curious though.

You are allowed to download your own AMV, yea, but I dunno if that has much of an effect.

Of course, you can boost (and, not in any way illegitimately) your own ops and star ratings, since you can give both to your own video, but...

I think it kinda defeats the whole purpose of em

I think it defeats the purpose of having an opinion...

Then again it can always be argued it's your opinion is that your video kicks major ass and therefore deserves 10's (or visa versa).

although if you downloaded your own vid then you would pretty much have to give it a star rating to get rid of that annoying reminder thing on the main member page-does anyone else think that forcing members to star rate vids is self defeating? :¬ \
