Well, 4 of my videos were shown (partially) in a TV show without letting me know of it / mentioning my name. I was kinda pissed, most likely because they were praised for showing such videos and not a piece of appreciation was shown to me even afterwards.
It's just me, I want to have an overview where my videos are.

This is why we put credits onto our projects, so no one else claims that they've created them. How would you, as an AMV creator feel if you found out that people were publicly displaying your works without even a single thought for consideration or editor approval?
Oddly enough, my most propagated video online is my Animetrix trailer, it's all over Kazaa if you search 'Animatrix', but the version on Kazaa is a 10mb ASF version I encoded and never released, not the released, higher quality Mpeg1 version. Funny how our stuff winds up all over the net, isn't it? (And yet my attempts to spread naked pictures of a friend of mine across Kazaa and other P2P systems is a total failure! >:| )

Credits and bumpers can be edited out. It's happened to people before. The only "sure" way would be to waterstamp your video.DJ_Izumi wrote:This is why we put credits onto our projects, so no one else claims that they've created them. How would you, as an AMV creator feel if you found out that people were publicly displaying your works without even a single thought for consideration or editor approval?
Also, where have you been, DJ_Izumi?
