advertise it like a fucken whore.
also, get very involved with teh community. help answer questions, provide opinions, join in conventions. if people know you, they will likely op you.
yup, advertise like a fucking whore...put the link in amv annoucements, advertise in your journal, and go to op exhange and do 1:1 ops with others...also, like lyrs said, the more people you are friendly with, the more ops you'll get

you could always try the opinion exchange. then again some of us are just lucky and the people who like are vids happen to like giving reviews. it can be the other way around too.

im guessing that ..the more awesome or the more shitty your video is, the easier it is to get opinions. but don't get down cause it's around what ...300 hits average that you finally get an OP? it's kinda hard. ppl are lazy.

go to the OP exchange in the other part of the forum. omnistrata also has something started where he'll op 'newbs' ..or something like that. and go announce your videos, if you haven't already in AMV announcements.

About six months, in my experience. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you were looking for.

Do what everyone else has said above or stop caring about it.

I'll give ops to whoever asks but I don't really care about getting any in return.

If you have a good video, people will leave an opinion to let you know how good they think it is =)

If it sucks, well, it goes the same way.

Everyone else has already said it, though. Announcements, Op Exchange, and journal spam is the way to go. One thing I'd also suggest is submitting your video to conventions. After cons, many people will try to download videos they like, and they'll usually head to the 'Org to do it. I got two or three opinions for SYLN after Otakon in this fashion.

When I put my first two AMVs here at the org, getting opinions was very important to me but not anymore. Now it's the clicks that count.

step: 10: check for more
step 11: try opinion exchange
step 12: wait some more

Why did you leave advertising out of those steps, Bebop0083?
