Both, I believe. I have clear memories of listening to Roxette when I was about 12, which would've been 1989.

Anyway, I would recommend Fallen, which uses an Alice Cooper song. (And wow, I didn't realize Arigatomyna had made so many videos.

I feel like such a slacker.

)

But yeah, overall just search in the database.

60's 70's 80's 90's - unless you know the song very very well, your AMV will
be overlooked by those who grew-up durring the time that THAT song was released!

I am currently working on my first video, which is to an older song. Of course, I'm an older guy.

(Well, 27 in a few weeks. So not terribly old, but I imagine I am older than the mean of a-m-v.org.) ...Wow! I just googled it, and I am only a year older than the song I'm using! But anyway...I imagine that most of the amvs that I make in the future will be to songs that are at least a bit older. I already have my next video running through my head, and I beleive the song is from the early/mid 90's. It's just the music I grew up with and still listen to, so those are the songs I tend to get ideas for making videos to...
