Don't expect our support if a host comes down on you. Why would we make take a stand to defend our "right" to break the law when that could only get us unwanted attention from the RIAA? It doesn't matter what we think our videos are, it matters what the owners of the original source material think.

The answer to your question (besides knowning some guy) is to find a service provider who honestly doesn't care about copywrite violations. Believe it or not, they do exist. Just e-mail providers about their position on the matter before you sign up.

Or you could actually take responsibility for your actions...

billybob jbone?

Actually, a "business class" DSL line, and an FTP server program are not the worst way in the world to host your own vids.

And make friends with a local band or two, especially if they have a website. They may give you permission to make them a "Free music video" of their music, that takes care of half of the copyright equation...

THE ONLY TIME EVER that I got a response from the REAL MAKER of a track was from "DJ STAX" (messed up frenchy) and he seemed really exited about the whole Angelic Barbie Girl thing actually.
