A part of the problem?

as long as the amv is good who cares....
i think, if there are 500 amvs to a single song, but they all are well meh..if you make a good one, then it gives the song a chance to be taken seriously...or something

Go for it. Nate's right, what matters is that you're happy with it. And despite our common bitching about LBZ videos, there are still both good LP and good DBZ videos. There may even be a good LBZ video out there (though if there is, I've not seen it). The worst that can happen is that everyone thinks it sucks *shrugs*. And, all told, just about every video on this site probably has at least one person who saw it and said "Blech. That sucked." As long as you like it, it wouldn't be a waste of time.

Go for it. Hell, I was planning on using "Crawling" set to Akira until I found an AMV in the database that did my ideas/theme adequately enough that I didn't go forward with the project.

Not only that, but I've got a DBZ video in pre-production. For serious.
