Do Intros in Anime count as music videos?

Have you seen the Lain Intro? It reminds me of a music video on MTV.

Well, I give the animators or directors of Japan credit for doing some really neat intros in anime. =D

someone commented on that a while ago. or was that some other anime where the intro was like an amv. but that stuff goes hand in hand when they roll credits w/ music....they often make it seem like a music video if you remove the titles and stuff.
