Anime Boston AMV Panel

Thanks to the nice Programming Staff at Anime Boston, we're now going to be having an informational/instructional panel on AMVs and AMV making, to be held for the hour before the Masquerade starts. The current panelists are dokool, Kiarrens, and I- we'd like to have about 3 others on the panel as well. So, if you're interested and would like to be on the panel, either email, IM, or PM me about it.

The plan (at the moment) is to take questions both in general and specifics about the creation of AMVs, both in creative and technical aspects, that the attendees may have. We plan to have a good selection of videos to use to show for examples of how different styles, and tools, methods, and effects are used, as well as one very good example of how to do things very wrong.

We'd also welcome advice and tips from people who have run AMV panels in the past so we can avoid any of the larger pitfalls you may have encountered. Thanks!

Get a concrete handle on whatever AV equipment you wantfor your panel, and make sure there's someone from the panel at the room early enough to get the staff to fix any problems before the panel is due to start. Test the setup to make sure it's in working order before the panel starts.
