I have made an ftp server so I can put my videos onto the site for download but whenever I check to see if it will download, it says that the site can not be found. Can someone help me with this?

Do you keep the FTP server up and running? I know a lot of people who start an FTP server and forget to keep it open. Also sometimes if your computer masks your IP, some FTP Servers will kick you for that. Did you password protect it? If you did, it will make it difficult to download from you.

Sounds like a home directory problem. I used to use Cute FTP (till I found out that Vanderbilt limits my bandwith greatly -_-) and the username you let them in on needs a specified home directory other than your default folder. Otherwise it will keep looking for one and not take you anywhere if one isn't specified.
