Videos That Helped You Become A Better Editor?

Post by purplealchemist » Mon Jan 05, 2026 5:38 pm

What videos have helped you become a better AMV editor?

I would like to find some practical editing techniques videos since I know I'm lacking basic concepts in my videos.

I don't think any specific video necessarily helped me become an AMV editor, but I've definately been inspired by a number of videos over the years.

The first AMV I saw that truly inspired me to spend more time on my videos and to grow as an editor was "Belllicose" by chiikaboom. It also got me to be more creative with the names of my videos, because I absolutely love the title.

For me I would post so much videos that I'll limit myself to mention what editors have influenced me to improve in the past:

Raixaz2, ScorpionsUnlimited, AimoAio, Ileia, Silk, Kireblue, Ikore, Megamom, CastroJimenez2, CodeZTM, dokidoki, Magnus, Nostromo, Rider4Z, jubjub2, mirkosp, ReggieSmalls, Synaesthesia.

Of course there are many more editors I would like to mention but I Will update whenever I remember
