James, I'm always trying to simplify the guides as much as possible, but this is extremely difficult, because by simplifying things you run the risk of leaving out important details or misrepresenting things.
The purpose of the eadfag is not just to allow someone to get their footage into the editing program, but rather, the purpose is to show you how to create an AMV with the best video quality possible. If you want to just rip your dvds and import it straight into your editing software, you can certainly do that. However, the result wont look as good as if you do it correctly.
If you can point out specific problem areas in the guide that you feel aren't explained well, I can try to update these in the future.

It was outdated. Also I did a lot of work trying to streamline the EADFAG, so I felt it wasnt so important anymore.Knowname wrote: What happened to your Zarxfag dude or am I missing it? It was right in the front for the beta...
