I used to check to see if there're any vids using the same song I'm planning on using, but if there's a combo of the same song and same anime, I won't watch it.

Not that I need to be worried about losing my theme, the odds are most ideas have been made before mine anyways. I'm pretty unimaginative so I need inspiration from others before I can get started.

I make 'em for the practice of editing and to better my own skills so if I can copy someone's else ideas just for the challenge of it, the better for me. :D

It know its an echo, but even if its been done before, nothing to say you cant do it 'better'.
I've out of the AMV loop for a good few years and the level of the GM vids has really improved, but that just means theres more to strive for (that and finding those really indie tunes so far untouched by AMV creators), after i've found my feet agane, im going to start emulating some of the more advanced videos, then best them. Simle as ^_^
