Movie Trailer AMV?

Most of my AMVs are Trailers anyway, but I want to get your ideas. It's the summer movie season, so there are a lot of good parodies/homages to make.

I've actually got an idea to do "The Departed", which could be easy or hard depending on how it's made, but I can't come up with a good anime to use yet. Cowboy Bebop is an obvious choice but the characterizations wouldn't work. The closest I can think of would be Outlaw Star...but let me know if you can think of some other good ones.

I would try and use Forever from Elemental Gelade and put it with Cowboy Bepop or any other samarai anime show or even futuristic anime like Gundum Seed Destiny

I thought about Cowboy Bebop, and the mood would work great, but it would be too tough to come up with the characters. Nice idea though.

I'm not familiar with the Gundam series but I'll look into it now.

I also thought of Samurai Champloo, which would be great, only I'd need gunshots not kitanas. Of course the themes of Samurai shows/movies run deep with loyalty and sacrifice, which is a major theme of the movie.
