would someone mind explaining how i would be able to put Japanese characters through photoshop??

You could, of course, also just install the Japanese IME. Works great for me.Mr Pilkington wrote:First things first, you have to have the Kanji language package installed on to your system. I was reading tuts on this and they said hit Alt+Shift and look for the "IME toolbar" to pop up. This bar never popped up and I guess what with Win2k + SP3, the toolbar doesn't exist, it's another icon in the system tray that looks like a pen that you have to right click on to access the same options. >_<
It was sooo frustating...
