Final Fantasy suggestion box

Here are just some of the many things I'd find interesting in an FF game.

1. a young kid in the group or as the main character - too many misfit teenagers

2. an older person in the group or as the main character - think of how cool Auron is from FFX

3. main character using a different weapon - yes, a sword is cool but what about an axe, bow, spear, gun, or magic wand

4. main character not in a love relationship - the other characters in the group being in this and you are observing

5. a girl as the main character - might be interesting and different

6. NOT HAVE DEATH AS A MAJOR FACTOR IN THE GAME - it's depressing to have those people close to you die (FFVII) or watch as innocent bystanders are killed and entire villages are destroyed

Probably. I've never touched the series. The only one that kind of interested me was number seven on the original Playstation, but since I didn't own the console at that time, I never touched it.

Final fantasies without a good love story and the destruction of whole towns and cities is like playing fucking Lame Ass Fantasy XII.

That new final fantasy is going to be ass. They need to not milk the, in my opinion, undeserved popularity of FFX and do something new. I for one would like to see a second game like Tactics, which was hands down the best FF game, ever.
