Google search error or somethin'

Well, obviously having nothing to do in my spare time, I got bored and started searching Google for common words like "a," and "I." But when I got to "The" I noticed something. After laughing at the fact that there were over 3 trillion results, I remembered that on the front page it said something about how many web pages were being searched. I Then looked at this number and it was "3,083,324,652" Then I do the search for 'The' again, and the number of results was "3,110,000,000" Someone forgot to update....*bored as hell with nothing better to do*

Note: whenever Google reports how many results it found for a given search parameter, it's always an approximation. 3.1 billion (not trillion; check your powers of ten) is close enough to 3.08 billion when we're talking about hits in a WWW index.

Side note: I searched for "The", and I got 2.74 billion results. The Onion's website was hit #1.

Oops, Billions, my mistake. I'm perfectly aware that it is just an estimate. I was just pointing it out...And when your thins bored.. Anything's funny.
