How do you manage your time?

Post by Anime Jedi » Tue Nov 19, 2002 11:15 pm

I need to know. I have been having way too many problems organizing myself to get anything done. I've never been so annoyed at myself. But I hope someone here can give me some helpful tips. :D

Figure it out as I go labeling blocks by the hour and determinging how long to spend at a time for each thing. Basically just alot a specific block for a specific thing and keep that scheduel daily like say 10-11 homework and make sure to keep taht consistent, if you stick to it you'll mange time better when you remove that block.

I have the same problem, as well. I don't manage my time.

I'm only a high school sophomore, so I'm HOPING that, as I get older, I'll develop better habits. Can any college aged guys out there verify this? Fortunately, I'm relatively intelligent compared to my class and thus i can get by fairly easily without studying my butt off.

However, I do wish I could manage my time...I'd be able to make a lot more vids.

Well, it's grade 11 for me, and I'm having this trouble. Just dealing with some depressing times, and I just keep ending up making things worse. :( I'm working on it though. Thanks for the tips guys.

I'm right-brained. I don't manage my time very well. I'm a lazy slacker bum. I often spend what should be homework time BSing on the computer and/or watching anime and/or editing.

I can't wait to be living in the real world, when I have no homework and I can spend all of my non-work time doing whatever, without having to worry about extra-work I should be doing. Course, I'm probably suffering from "Grass is Greener" syndrome.

Not entirely. Just remember, don't be a slave to your job if you can help it. Having a "career" isn't really possible most of the time nowadays or a good thing very often. Will anyone care when you die that you put in 60 hour weeks for the company and made third level manager? Only the ones gunning for your now open position will. On the flip side, will anyone care that you took the time in your life to smell the roses, instead of putting in 60 hours at the grindstone weekly? Probably not, but who dies happier in the end  ?
