Futurama
Did anyone else catch the episode that was on tonight?
If you guys forgot, last year they cancelled Futurama but didn't air all the new episodes. Well, there was a series finale so to speak and that was the one that aired tonight. I could just wring fox's neck for the lack of promo it recieved.
Anyway, it was good but it was sad.....kinda out of character for Futurama.

Actually I found out it wasn't the series finale ep...crossed wires at a Futurama forum. I did think that was plausible given Leela and Amy's...risque behavior. It seemed fitting for a 'who cares what they think now' kinda thing for fox since they just didn't want the series anymore.
Now if Fox would just move it to a later time slot for the rest of the 16 episodes left to air....

Argh. I HATED that ending. If they had ended it with Fry walking away from Seymour's fossil, it would have been perfect. But, no. Instead, they went the other way. AAARRRGH!!
Sorry, but that ending really got to me. It made me want to just cry. But, I chose to restrain myself around the roomate. (I still get crap for screaming at that BITCH Nicole when we watched 40 Days and 40 Nights.)

The time slot for that show got moved around so much I always forgot when it was airing. That's actually the reason I attribute to the show's cancellation is due to Fox's lazy maner of which they decided where to put the show in their lineup. My favorite episode will always be the penguins with hunting rifles.

Despite Fox getting a slew of complaints, suggestions of where to move Futurama, and pleas for sanity..it still won't move it to a later time slot...and never did. Matt Groening (sp?) even tried to get them to move it...I read he really feels Futurama is more his fav than the Simpsons
But they won't/didn't listen
It's not too late for them to move it to say...9:30 after Malcolm and be a perfect slot but they've been deaf all along and I doubt it'll change any time now.
