Your Fav console system...

We all have cpus and we all know that is truly the ultimate game system...
^_^

But I'm wondering what console system you have and why... Also, unless you are a pure idiot (which some of you will probably prove right now) you will NOT go around bashing others due to their system ownership. You will be trolled... You have been warned...

Just wondering since everyone has their reasons...

Why do I own XBox?

Party player mania... (3 words: Halo + Fusion Frenzy... ^_^)
Xbox Live (when I get broadband *sniffle...)
$$$ Got cash? (I have a low paying job, but it does just enough to get my food and entertainment value goin')
Arcade/fight games: Doa 3, Kakuto Chojin, Dynasty Warriors 3, etc...
Shenmue 2 and Metal Gear Solid Substance... [only on Xbox] ^_^

Why didn't I get the others? [notice I won't say that "they suck..."]

PS2, I ALWAYS have friends who like a challenge bigger than 2 players and I don't want to get the 4 player extra adapter. I don't like the controller. It's bad for some fighting games. Plus currently, it's the weakest in terms of graphics processing power...

Gamecube, the majority of their games are geared toward children. This has been stated in an inteview with Nintendo's upper officers. [note I didn't say ALL since some of you will try to troll me by saying something concerning "Resident Evil"]. Plus, of all the systems, I don't agree with the majority of people saying the "Mammoth Handed" fool at Microsoft should be fired. This controller for this system to me is just plain awkward to use. Plus, I don't like this games fighting game line up. [Dead or Alive for me baby... ^_^]

Gamecube:Nintendo wuz da main company dat got me into gaming...so ill stick wid em to the end(if that ever comes). Plus Metroid prime and da new Zelda r comin out soon..dats reason enough to hav 1. And da new Phantasy Star online ep.1&2..iv already got my broadband modem for dis baby

Gameboy Advance:Da most powerful portable gaming machine ever made...its almost as powerful as PSone. Also Metriod Fusion, Zelda:A link to the past remake(WID A 4 PLAYER DUNGON!!) and Golden Sun 2 really got me ready for dis holiday and beyond 8)

I recently bought a PS2
Reason: Because in Aus Xbox seemed like major hype and at the time all the games I wanted were on PS2 -GTA3, Vice City, Tekken, Metal Gear 2 and a few others i cant think of. Also i wanted straight up DVD capability not some add on extra. Then theres the fact that the friend i bought it with and I are both Sony junkies.

Why I didnt get the XBox - I love Sony (its my only consumer whore vice). The hype here surrounding XBox was pretty big when i made my choice and I didnt feel like getting the next big thing. Mainly though its because I can only afford one system at a time and PS2 was it so XBox wasnt.

Gamecube - I was burned by the N64, it didnt have enough deep games or violent games to fill the void in my life I was experiencing at the time. So I chose to steer well clear of the GC.

This board was meant for individual opinion and I layed why I chose the system that I did, this is how I feel about each of the systems , theres nothing derogatory there just my position in the console war.

Yes, the days of the Nintendo 64 for me were a rather dry age in gaming, but that only made me want a Gamecube more.

We have about 6 or 7 games, with about 2 more coming when we get the money. (Godzilla destroy all monsters, Cubivore)

So I think I'll stick with my Gamecube, and maybe not even get a Playstation 2 this Christmas.

And with the Gameboy advance (3-4 games.), I'll probably be out of money for a while.

But seriously, the Xbox is entirely out of the question, and since I don't want to make this a debate, please don't ask.

My fav system is my PS2. I'm not much of a multiplayer person (the exception being fighting games) and rpgs are my fav type of game. PS2 definitely has the largest library of those, plus I think the controller works better for fighting games than any of the others (Dreamcast included). That and my top 4 fav games can all be played on PS2: FF7, Guilty Gear X, Devil May Cry, and Dance Dance Revolution.

I do own a Gamecube and I'm happy with it, but it is kind of lacking in games right now, and the controller is definitely worse than the ps2 one. I don't own an xbox and don't plan on getting one because the games don't appeal to me very much, and I can't stand the controller (yes, my hands are smaller than average, amongst my friends at least...).

Gamecube all the way. I have played the best of all the systems and gamecube was the only one that I liked. Everything is perfect with the gamecube, nothing to complain about. I am a loyal Nintendo fan and have never strayed from the path. It also has the best games out.

Well if I have to put down a console then it's Atari vcs all the way!! The games may have had simple graphics but the game play was excellent. A runner up would be my old sega master system it had this game called Bomber raid which was a clone of 1942 but it was hell of a fun.
