How the hec do people put in Japanese characters?
I've tried from Microsoft Word to SubStation and nothing works. All I can do is paste other people's text.
So how do you do it? Need instruction.
(Primarily for MS Word or SSA.)
(I already have the multiple language pack...at least I think...)

Oy...okay I thought people would be able to figure this out but maybe not(I did have a hard time with it
)
You know that thing called the "Language Bar", it is either at the top of the screen or docked to the Taskbar. Well open it and select JP as the language. Then you'll see a big A as one of the buttons. Click on it and you'll see it is on Direct Input. Change this to katakana or Hiragana(whichever you prefer). Now when u type romaji it will change it to what you wanted it to. Also one more thing if you hit the spacebar after typing a word it will give you options to change it too ie. Hiragana, Katakana, various Kanji.
If it doesnt work right away(by work i mean instead of making ra ら it makes it two seperate hiragana ie. やき) If this happens just go to the language bar settings and fish around under the Japanese Input System MS-IME2002 until you see something about converting romaji. The japanese language has alot of nifty features that you can play around with.
Unfortunately korean doesnt

It is available for any version of windows...
Windows XP comes with it, but you can also obtain it from installing Microsoft Office XP Pro. complete install. Basically all you need is the Language Bar. And the best part is Office XP is free from the Kazaa Store.
Don't tell me I'm wrong either I installed it on both ME and '98 so b00j4
Just get Office XP and full install and everything you need will be there then just follow my steps as directed above.

OK two more questions....
1. Is there a way that I can type so it goes vertically and to the left automatically?
2. How do you insert those quote kinda things? It looks like this (sorry for the crude imitation):
