Fuck them both. I was never able to download some videos, because IE decided I wanted to open Xvid compression with Windows media player. Now that I use mozilla, I have solved the problem. The only things I like from microsoft are the games, and windows. Kinda.

are we talking WMP or Real Media (the old version that was separate from Jukebox)?

I know i'll be flamed for this, but i love the old Real Player and Jukebox. I cant stand and absolutely detest RealOne Player. It sucks big weenie and should be purged from all existence. I use Real Player and Jukebox all the time but will refuse to dl RealOne because i tried it once and worked as well as poop on a stick. I then had a hell of a time finding the old versions again. Plus they wanted me to pay for RealOne. well poo on them. What the hell, maybe i'm just outdated.

Just kidding. I have no problems with realmedia, it plays what the other's can't.

i dont usually use any other video player then windows media player. I dont like realplayer or quicktime though. My choice is windows media player.

Quick Time screws with my computer and freezes it for 10 minutes at a time, not even the reset switch on the tower has any effect, i just have to wait it out.

It did, until I updated to WMP 9 beta and IE 6 simultaniously, because it is because of this that it doesn't work. I kid you not, it will open up the media bar, and display the same damn error number. Even with ffdshow. I could get the error number now but it is now 2:24 AM, and I just worked 8.5 hours. I am off to bed. Oh, and if this sounds weird or rude, put two and two together...
