First snow! (starting with sun then lightning? o_0)

Ok, so technically it snowed last week, but that was a little bit over the night (the Lunar Eclipse night). And it only lasted one day. But today it really came down!

It all started yesterday (Wednesday). It was such a beautiful day. It was warm enough that in art class, when sawing the wood for my canvas, I did it outside in short sleeves. As the classes went by, so did the good weather. 3 hours later, I was sitting in Physics class and we heard this enormous thunder crash. It was pouring rain outside! After a couple hours of drenching rain, it let up for a bit (just enough for me to walk home safe and dry ^_^). Next thing we know, it's raining again! This time with even more thunder and lightning! I went out to hockey only to come back without it having let up a bit.

I woke up this morning wondering if the rain had subsided. Well, the rain was gone, but howling winds, had taken it's place. As the day went on, the wind didn't stop. But late in the morning it started snowing! With the wind aiding it, it was really coming down. It continued to snow well into the afternoon, creating a nice layer of slush on the sidewalks. I had to stay after school to work on some art, so I walked out to the strip mall to grab a bite to eat first. Walking back, I was literally almost blown off my feet. I used a nearby tree to regain my balance before I was face first in the snow. The snow later slowed down, but the wind didn't want to do the same. I had driving lessons at 5:00pm, and guess what night + wind + slush =... black ice! Talk about fun, skidding you car all over tha place if you're not careful. And I'm not kidding, though my instructor wanted me to be a little more careful than I actually was. ~_^ lol Well, I'm home safe and sound, and it has become a quiet night. No sun, no lightning, no rain, no snow, and no wind. Too bad...
