Late welcomes

Who here hates late welcomes. It seems that some people do... (see what they said to me!) I personally don't care for them, so I just stay away. What do those of you who didn't post think?

It's not that I hate late welcomes...it's just that the welcome is cheapened from someone who's been around and posting for 2 months.
