I just got a job offer for CNNSB and a huge self-esteem boost. Does that count?
(Actually I help make things for an Antique store... My painted set of drawers went for $75 ... And that painting was really half-assed. Whoah. My boss is my Grandma. SHe's cool.)

I'm work at a library. I'm whats called a library page (ironic isn't it?) because you need a degree to be a full librarian.
I get along with my bosses because one has been my next door neighbor since before I was even born and sorta acts as a 2nd mother to me.
My other boss is my mother.
My work time rotates. This week I work Mon, Tue, and Thur. Next week its Mon, Tue, and Sat. Then back again. The job is boring as hell, but I like the peace and quiet.

Huh, one of my rl friends is working at a library. I've always debated doing it, but yea, the boredom worries me...
As for my working hours. Well damn.
Whenever I go to New York I usually paint a piece or two and then when the piece sells I get mailed my commission. I guess that can't really be called a "Job", but I paint and I get paid and it has the best hours ever.
Nobody can argue wit dat.
And I have no idea why I sounded so ghey in that last sentence.
I'm really dumbassy today. -_-"

Erm, yeah, but you might not be able to do it. Plus you wind up losing a lot of stuff. Like I can't get sick anymore. Now I know what yer thinkin, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal, but really think about it. Imagine if you could NEVER be sick again, you would NEVER be able to know what's that's like ever again. *shrugs*
If you wanna get started on the road it's not too hard. Have you ever had one of those experiences, where you're like lying in bed, half awake, half asleep and you suddenly feel terrified? But then it's like your mind is awake, but your body isn't, and you have to sorta fight and struggle in your mind to break out of it and wake up. Well, if ya have, the next time it happens, don't break out of it, don't struggle, don't fight the fear, just let it in you for as long as you can. `, )

Every now and then, when I am falling asleep, something happens and I regain conciousness.
The result is a fairly real hallucination: I see a strange object (Robotic arm, tiny witch, Floating giant scorpions, hoardes of small humanoids with glowing eyes crawling all over the wooden bed structure) somewhere in the room. These hallucinations usually last 5-10 seconds, but are terribly interesting. No matter how much I try to clear my eyes, I can still see them, and usually reach out to them, like I was watching a movie with 3-D glasses. Terribly fun stuff.
I used top believe these were called "Night Terrors," but found many contradictory definitions.
Some other times, as I fall asleep, I manage to kick myself awake by reacting to the nightmare that was about to begin (like the sensation of falling). As soon as I move, I awaken.
Awesome stuff.

Wow this went WAY off topic...
But those hallucinations, Banana, those are awesome. I used to have those. I have no idea why they stopped(although it's kinda a good thing they did, now that I think about it) but they were terribly interesting, as you say.
See, when I was eight, or sometime younger than I am now(I have a horrid memory) I'd get these hallucinations of these glowing red eyes near my bed. I was so terrified that I tried to scream for my mom but all that came out was a hoarse whisper. I couldn't move my body. Petrified.
I mean, no matter how hard I tried, my voice would just NOT go above that quiet hoarse whisper. It was devastating.
That repeated itself for a good long while, until one night, it decided to have some originality.
Same glowing red eyes, but now with a floating metallic gun. I think that's where my facination with guns [nowadays] comes from. It's just floating there, next to the glowing eyes, as if he had a hand and he were holding it, pointing the barrel right in between my eyes(of course with how old I was I wasn't educated with guns, but I did have the feeling that I was going to die). And again, that literally petrified feeling.
After that one gun incident, the red eyes and "night terrors" never showed up again. I heard a story somewhere that a few ghosts(and I believe in those) will haunt a house like that, so maybe it really wasn't "night terrors".
But then it makes me wonder if the ghost was trying to tell me something, ro what the hell happened with it just disappearing. =\
Did it want to kill me? Did it just get bored?
But, meh. That's getting off topic of the off topic stuff...
