I'm sure there are directions around here somewhere, but seeing as I'm too lazy to find them for myself could someone please be kind enough to tell me where I can find some nice avatars? Thanks!

Although Im sure this goes in Off topic, I usually make my own, from screen captures or images off the web (mostly manga). I suggest going to google.com and typing in what ever kind of avatar you are looking for.

depends on what you want and avatar of, I just go the first picture I saw on my PC and uploaded it ^_^ - Someday, I may get around to changing it

I use my own drawings as well sometimes. I think when I get into post production of my current chapter of my manga, I will start using pics from that.

You can also get an ava at Shoujo-Ai Heavens and have it hosted at Digikitten or grab some pics from Shoujo-Ai Heavens, crop with (MS) Paint or other pic editors.

Upload it to here if it's under 6kb's or have it hosted at Digikitten.

no ... in all my experience paint is good for almost nothing. albeit i don't have much experience with paint, but still ... use something better then paint to edit pictures.
