Artists: Have you ever been ripped off?

Post by SephirothJenova » Tue Sep 30, 2003 2:51 pm

I was wondering if any of the people who post their works on the internet have had any of their work stolen or taken credit for. I've done two Evangelion peices and working on a Cloud Strife one currently. I'd like to have them on the internet, but considering having a little logo over it or having my picture taken with them to keep them from being stolen and stuff. Anyone had a problem with it before?

If something is stolen from a thief, does that make it more stolen? :\

That was rhetorical, don't bother answering it. I suggest you just put a short bumper at the beggining or the end of the vid. You know, something that includes the anime, song, and vid creator. Generally, even the simple task of cutting out a bumper is to much work for someone that wants to take credit for another persons vid.

yeah, but at least we now know where and from whom, so that we can tell the cops.

Um, you guys don't seem to understand. I'm talking about actual art. Like drawings, paintings, etc.

Ahh, I thought you were talking about amv's. I suggest just a tiny logo in the bottom corner.
