The mods keep deleting all my annoying messages to Dwchang. >.>

[MOD467: How about trying non-annoying messages?]

The above message is a prime example of the Moderators' sweeping, unbridled power over the Forums members: the ability to spy on private messages, censor the general communications and suppress dissidents through a sitewide thought police.

The "Moderators", also known as Forum Dictators, just removed my "avatar" ability. They've also been convicted on several hundred counts of removing/editing/disabling videos, locking/moving/editing threads, and of course, spamming member emailboxes.

[MOD289: Now if only we actually had the ability to DO all of those things. People don't seem to understand, the "locking/moving/editing threads" thing is the ONLY ability we have. Whatever happened to your avatar was Phade, not us.]

Hm, what do we call totalitarian, police-site, user-spy-user, chaotic and spammed forums?

You're avatar wasn't doing anything wrong. =\

And I full heartedidly agree with you.
Private messages shouldn't be messed with.
And Posts should not be deleted without reason.
Having moderators is fine, in my opinion, but there's a certain level of privacy we're allowed to have. =\

Uhm..no. You misinterpret the line. They're not deleting PMs and to my knowledge, do not have access to read them.

She was referring to them deleting her stupid and non-sense posts. There is nothing wrong with that especially when the rest of the community wants it. If anything, that's democracy, not totalitarianism.

You are also incorrect in your information on removing videos and so on. Only Phade has access to do that. Mods can *only* edit and delete threads/posts. That's *it*.

Now take your Orwellian words and re-think this before posting with your misinformation.

As for the statement on Videos: I had no idea Phade has to do so much work with the video modding. You mean every time some dumb f*ck has sends a corrupt version of their vid to The Doughnut, he actually needs to click and OK to delete it? Sheesh.

In essence, yes. Phade is a very busy man, but feels he should be the only one with that "power" and I agree. Not to say I don't trust the mods, but still...

As for the earlier stuff, you obviously haven't been paying attention to Insane's posts and so on. Perhaps the reason you haven't lately is because the mods have been doing a good job and deleting 90% of her useless posts of nonsense.

I truly support both Phade and the Mods on all their works in the forum, it's their true right to do whatever they wish. Even private messages aren't a problem to me, if you wan't to contact somebody with information that would be unworthy of being on the site, you can do it over email or a chat service. It's something that was given to you, it can be taken away or destroyed if you abuse it.
