What are YOU when it comes to Newbies??

Post by KawaiiYume4o8 » Sat Sep 13, 2003 11:42 pm

Lets put on this scenario: "Iambiganimefreak" IMs you and asks "How do you make a music video??" What is your answer?

A) Well you start off with a computer, then you get footage, then you get software, etc....

B) You stupid ass

C) *IGNORE*

So what do YOU consider yourself? Let the little ones know who to ask for help and who to stay away from ^^

are you an Image or an Image

D) I am hoping that they have a little idea of what they want to do and can
grasp the concept that, "It's not as easy as it looks to get things right" for not
everybody will understand that they need a Frame-by-Frame editor to get it
right!

However, that is just my opinion 8)

For the most part unless they're really annoying I refer them to the manuals.

Considering your avatar has a bandito-style mustache, I found that especially amusing.

I concur. Although, I'd usually be in altruistic mood to help others, there ar e two things that are different this time:

1) N00b, by defnition, usually don't bother to RTFM, STFW, or bother to do their homework, try it first and then ask questions the right way. If they read the guides, then they wouldn't be n00bs.

2) I know I'm already getting a vid done and know how to make an AMV... but if I ask real hard, can I still get into Hell? I'd like to go visit.

well, I ( for one ) can not understand the guides!
(( I'm still learning the language and some of these term's `floor me! ))
However, when I've been confused about an issue - everyone has been more
than helpful 8)

I have been at these boards long enough to start learning English and will be
the first to admit that too many times I've seen the same questions asked over
and over too MANY times so I can understand why people would want to ignore
newbe's as much as possible PLUS there seem's to be a growing number of
people who just pretend to be Newbe's - and THAT suck's!
