psychology behind teh poke

I've noticed something in highschool that was very annoying to me. Out of nowhere, when people greet me they poke me in my belly, or they would talk to me and in the middle of the conversation BAM! belly poke. Now the poking isn't what really bothers me, well besides the fact that it's annoying. It's the fact that I can't figure out what drives them to poke me. They wont poke anyone else, but me

With all that in the past I go to my first quarter of college. Two guys already poked me in the stomach! One walks to me, "hey!" *poke, and the other pokes me in the middle of a conversation.

WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Has anyone else noticed some accessive pokage done unto them?
I mean why would someone do such a horrible horrible thing?!

Hey,

Maybe you're like the Pillsbury Doughboy, where you project an aura of pokeage and people just can't help themselves.

And did you check you back for "poke me" signs.

LOL this remindes me of 9th grade. me and my friends would always poke this kid in the stomach it was so funny he would scream and fall out of his chair. lol good times.

Heh...belly poke...people love randomly poking me in the ribs cause it makes me squirm...well that is till they found out what i ACCIDENTLY (I swear) did to one of my friends....

Picture if you will....

Me, sitting down at the computer talking to my friend to my right....not paying attention to anything else....

Chris comes up behind me and pokes me, only it hurts cause he hit between my two ribs....(ouch btw)

My instantaneous reaction : Palm punch.

Heh...I kinda sacked him...really hard....he couldn't talk for a little while...but I didn't know it was him otherwise I would have stopped myself...lol....

I killed a man once for poking me.

Anyway I have noticed the pokeing too. I generally poke people in the arm becuase belly pokes are saved for family. Its just fun I guess. I dunno. I get poked alot as well.

I poke people on the shoulder or back. Failure to acknoledge leads to more poking, untill I have their undivided attention.

i'd say that you have a very pokable belly then. If you put spikes on it, people won't be poking you no more.

lol i just lol poked my fat cat in the side lol it jumped so high lol. i didnt do it hard just incase u are wondering i just surprised it.
