If she pirated my bands music and got sued for it, I'd fly to her house to meet her and apologize, give her mom $2,000 and play a free private show for her and who ever she wanted to invite. Also give her free signed stuff ofcourse too.

I know some bands/people that might do things like this if kids get sued on their behalf.

Its a pitty the music company isn't putting as much effort into making their albums worth buying as they do into hunting down people who don't pay extortionist prices for lowgrade music.

What they don't seem to realise is that music sharing is helping the music industry. People download a song by an artist they've never heard of, or only just heard of, right. Then they think "oh I like this" and alot of the time they run out and buy the album, because they know that CDs are much better quality than downloaded music.

Did you know what the Record Industry over here were going to try and do? increase the price of CD and DVD media by 10%. So they think that we have nothing better to do than sit at home and copy music and movies. Oh, but that was still going to be illegal, they said. So basically they were trying to make us pay to do something that was still illegal. That makes me..... well lets just say it makes me mad.

I need to get STONED!!!!

I do that :D , but the again I know a few people that just download the whole album and more then burn it, or just burn it from a friend.

I only ever download whole albums if the CDs aren't available, like any stuff by X Japan (they kick so much ass, its a shame the lead singer killed himself), but I try to get stuff off kazaa thats 160kbps or above.
