In my opinion, VII and VIII are tied for first place.

8. Followed extremely closely by 7. 9 and X are out of the picture because Sony didn't release PC versions of them in order to drive up Playstation sales, so that leaves 7, 8, and whatever I had for my (S)NES (FF3 and FF6). 8 was the best IMHO because I totally loved the junctioning system, the plot took a few twists, but nothing too extreme, and the in-game character engine looked almost as good as FFX. FF9 was almost a disappointment when they went back to stumpy chibi characters. The FMVs in the PC version are also by far the most impressive FMVs in any FF game because they re-rendered them at a full 640x480, instead of the playstation's native 320x288 or whatever-the-heck it uses (It's some half-field crap). From what I hear, I would absolutely love FFX, but until Square releases a PC version (never) I won't get to play it. I refuse to buy a console who's selling points are tired old sequals. I made it this far without a Playstation, no sense breaking my policy now ;)

Final Fantasy 3 Adventure > All PSX Final Fantasy games.

I said Adventure because that was the game boy game. It fucking rocked.

VIII then X then VII for me...i think 8 had the best story line and the junctioning thing was pretty cool the only thing i didnt like was the drawing. 10 was awesome too it had a very in depth plot and ive been playing like 300 hrs and i still havent lost interest (im still trying to max out my charatcters i can defeat sin in 3 hits hehehe) i liked 7 too it was great. 9.......made me so angry...first of all the killed alexander(he was sooooo cool) then after u defeat kuja, necron(was that his name?) just pops out and says i want to kill u and everone else BLAH it was just so random and then the whole ur an alien u were sent to cause chaos just left me feeling....BLAH...anyways.....

Final Fantasy 7&8 for me all the way. Although I have played, and beaten 1-10. I'll get 11 and X-2 soon.

FFVI closely followed by FFV and then FFIV and then FFVII. :?
