ctrl-alt-del?
ok, so my task manager doesnt work when i push those magical 3 buttons and i got a frozen media player on my desktop and i dont wanna restart the computer cuz im almost done with this 700 meg download. is there any other way to access it!?!?!?!?!?

I thought this thread was about webcomics when I first saw it too. *shrug*nailz1000 wrote:and i was hoping this would be a thread about the online comic.
Anyway, to the software tech stuff: If Media Player is frozen, odds are that the other program is still running in the background. If you remember the last time estimate, I'd wait double that long and then hit the restart button. If you have the file, great! If not, it can always be redownloaded.
OR
You can tell if another program is still active by using ALT-TAB. Holding the ALT key and repressing the TAB key will allow you to cycle through the available programs. If you aren't able to do this, odds are that your system is frozen. You can wait a little while at this point, but, more than likely, you'll have to restart.
