This just isnt cool

We've (TAFE IT class) just found out why we couldn't save anything to the network for longer than 5 minutes. Becasue two bludging motherfuckers on the other side of the room were busy playing counterstrike while we were trying to finish assignments.

I lost two assignments - TWO FUCKING ASSIGNMENTS - because of these two and they didn't even look guilty. The rest of the class has been losing work for weeks, I almost failed a subject, and countless others in the class have had setback after setback, lost work, and several of us (including me) have been accused of multitudes of offenses, including downloading porn onto the TAFE network, which is an idictable offense.

And all these two are gonna get is a suspension. A fucking 24 hour suspension. Bull - fucking - shit. Giving them 24 hours worth of free time, they can play more counterstrike now!! And they are gonna come back tomorrow and start all-over-again.

I am really fucking pissed about this, and the rest of the class is too. I just felt the need to rant and vent a bit of steam.

Anyone else can add there own (similar) experiences to this thread if they want.

Sounds like it is time to write a formal letter of protest to the administration.

this is all true i'm like sitting next to smb at the time and was generally pissed off with what had happene over that period of time when the fucking server crashed and shit. I am actually glad that those teenaged brats (who are fifteen and should be in highschool not tafe for crying out loud)

Either way, I've lost shit myself on the computers and just barely got my way out of keeping all my junk on the drivers by moving it to the pc drive. Either way it has totally screwed my day and I truly wished bthat i could bathe in the blood of their wounds i have inflicted on them.

Anyway i've been treated like shit about this and because of these minute little idiots I have the envy of the gods because they get away with it until we finally take action.

a formal letter you think? yeah it could work actually but the poinbt is that the education department is like a total complete piece of rotting snail shit. Which sucks badly.
We will have our say although because this is very psychologically stressing and eternally infuriating.

Be American and SUE. Had you failed because of this, you might actually have a very good case.

Anyhow, those kids should get more punishment. Maybe no more use of the computers, even for academic reasons, and a longer suspension?

Well theres a [sarcasm]"procedure"[/sarcasm] to be followed in this situation, although I just heard that theres a good possibility they can be suspended for upwards of two weeks. By that time they'll be so far behind it'll be pointless to come back. And theyll still have to pay the course fees, even if they get kicked out (

And seeing as we, Australia, are become more Americanised every day, we could sue them and get away with it...

And apparently they have to prove to the computer administrator why they are allowed back on the network. I don't think they will be able to, seeing as what they were doing was contravening a GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT as opposed to just the campus rules.
