Saw the movie when I was a kid... creeped the shight out out of me!
Watched it again the other, to show my little brother and sister. That's pretty intense.

Never heard of it... Sounds kind of interesting though. Who wrote the book?

I have the book floating around at home somewhwere, but I haven't read it. Looks intersting. My parents got it for me when I was into Redwall, because they thought it looked like something I'd like (I no longer read Redwall, each book is the exact same damn thing. Go read the very first one, because it's damn good, then take the exact same plot, change a couple details, and there's book 2, 3, etc. I decided after book 3 that I had already had enough. They are interesting, have detailed, wonderful writing and great characterizations, but the plot of each book is pretty much exactly the same. Same with Xanth. Xanth lost me about book 6 or so, because it just got a bit tired.)

I should track down that book and read it, because it looked damn interesting.

well I havent read the book only seen the movie, and that is one of those that is NOT a childrens movie. I can only imagine the number of parents that took their kids expecting a cute little movie about bunnies. Kind of like that movie comic aobut a clockwork orange. "I think it's a move about clowns!"

I love Watership Down. I originall saw the movie when I was young and it inspired me to buy the book, which is filled with much more...

and the man who wrote Watership Down also wrote a book called The Plague Dogs, which was also turned into an animated film... but it is much harder to find...

I like Watership Down more than The Plague Dogs, but both are excellent stories.
