ZOE 2nd Runner...!!

Post by Bushido Philosopher » Sat Mar 15, 2003 12:16 am

This game kicks major ass!!
This was a great improvement on the first game.

*warning - the following may provide spoilers*

What I particualrly like about this is that there's armadas of enemies thrown in your lap. One of the battles you have to actually fight a fleet of warships all by yourself. Crazyness.

But of course you'll have much better weapons. I particualrly love the 0-Shift. Controls are so much tighter as well.

FYI the producer is the same guy who directed the Metal Gear Solid game series - Hideo Kojima. So you know it's gonna be good.

I don't wanna ramble on. Some places haven't even had it shipped yet. And I've already beat the game!

For more info go to <A HREF=http://www.konamijpn.com/products/zoe2/ ... tml>KONAMI JAPAN - ZOE</A>

This WILL be the game of 2003 in the action genre. At least it better be....

It's beautiful, it's great, I love it.

I agree with pretty much everything Ko Oh Yoku said, and I just wanted to add that the story is much better this time around as well. You can defintely tell that Kojima's been more involved with this game than the last.

The game is also not as easy as it was the first time around either, which is good. :)
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.

oh duh i completely forgot about graphics and cinema.

hollywood better be shaking in their $500 boots right about now.
animation is clean and crisp, even during cut scenes.

in previous games you could definitely tell what was rendered and pre-rendered. now that line between the two has been almost completely erased. from the explosions and particle effects to in-cockpit cut-scences, everything is gorgeous. check out the screen shots at the site. those are not enhanced images, they are taken from inside the game!
