I need a new watch...

Post by Phade » Thu Mar 13, 2003 1:48 pm

Hey All,

I need a new wristwatch and I'm looking for some suggestions on a good one to get. I would like one where I can sync some information with my computer. I'm not looking to have a watch-sized Palm Pilot, but more something simple like a little scrolling message on an alarm. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks again and have fun!! ^_^

Phade.

i have a Casio G-Shock and i've been wearing it for about three years now. :D It doesn't have any scrolling messages like the ones that do now, but i'm sure new models like that are available. my wristwatch cost around $120, it's digital of course, and it won't break even if i chuck it at at a wall. the battery usually lasts for ten years too.

just a suggestion.. there are probably better watches out there, but for me, but Casio's are very reliable.. :)

i like my Timex expedition ... it's next to indestructable ... with a digital, and normal analog clock face, it's pretty hard to screw up with it ... I've been wearing mine for about two years, and thats pretty good. But, not only is the watch i have good, but it's pretty cheap too ... i think i only paid like $60 canadien for it, and like $15 for the new starp (the one it comes with sucks if your wrist isn't the right size).

Hey,

A watch that you can sync with your comp? Why that would cost you a fortune...so where are you gonna get the money?

Okay, why not by a cheap 10 bucks plastic watch?

I have a Swiss Army Stainless Steel analog watch that has been ticking for ever 3 years (it was a 13th b-day gift) and a Digital Ironman Waterproof that I've had since I was 10, still has original everything! Works nice!

That PDA thing, I have no idea... I saw one with an MP3 player on it, but that's as technical as I saw...

Hey,

In my search, I have had a sudden 180 degree turn in taste: a 100% analog wind-up watch. I found this one and just thought it was just cool! I am completely surrouneded by technology all the time and this will make a nice contrast to that. Now to find a good deal on it...
