Who do you want to meet?
I was just thinking of people I'd love to meet given the opportunity, and I thought I'd see who everyone else has on there list. It can be anyone, go wild.
My list (thus far).
Fred Gallagher (artist and co-creator of Megatokyo. I love his work, and I would love to be able to tell him so.)
Yui Watase (creator of Fushi Yugi, Ayashi no Ceres, and other mangas that I am sure I just haven't read yet. I love her art, her storytelling, and her side panels. She seems like she would be a very interesting person to talk to, and I'd love to meet her.)
William Milberry (His videos have been big artistic inspirations to me, and I'd love to meet him.)
Hsien Lee (Whenever I feel bad because I don't much of a head for special effects from an artistic standpoint, I watch a Kusoyaro video and am reminded that effects are not necessary in order to make a good, powerful video. Like Will, his videos are inspirations to me, and I'd love to meet him. Plus, they both seem like fun guys).
Shinichiro Watanabe (Director of Cowboy Bebop. Incredible series, one of my favorites, and he is a great storyteller. I must learn from him.)
Hideki Anno (Director of Evangelion. Also, see above.)
Yoko Kanno (Fantastic musician responsible for the soundtracks to Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, and others. Her music is so incredible...)
Tsuneo Imahori (Responsible for the soundtrack to Trigun. He does great work IMHO. He also played guitar in a few tracks on the Bebop soundtrack with Yoko Kanno [see above]).
Nobuo Oematsu (Responsible for the scores to every Final Fantasy game thus far. Wonderful, fantastic music.)
Yasunori Mitsuda (Wrote the delightfully eclectic score for Chrono Cross.)
Radiohead (All of them, but especially Thom Yorke, lead singer, lyricist, and vocalist.)
Sawao Yamanaka (Lead singer and songwriter for the pillows. He writes fantastic music, puts a lot of heart into his work, and based on what he had to say in the pamphlet for domestic FLCL Vol 2, seems like a very interesting person to talk to and hang with.)
And that's enough from me. What's your list?
