Off Topic Vs. The Rest Of The a-m-v.org Forum

Post by SpPANDA » Tue Mar 04, 2003 2:54 am

i've basically noticed that all the members of the .org with any sense of HUMOR are all spammers in the off topic threads.

everyone who posts in the upper threads usually have a stick shoved up their asses. they turn their nose to people and look down on us.

but you know what?

our wit puts us so much further above them.

i hate to say it, but there's a BIG difference between a geek, and anime geek, and someone who just cares to spam.

which one are YOU?

you cross that line up there and everyone flames you.
up there their shit dont stink.

this is why im always down here. OT is a far different community than up there. and im sure you all know this.

and finally...

i'd like to give a shout out to MOD264:

I'm sorry I'm such a loser.

Dude, you just proved how much an moronic hypocrite you are. :?
Try to look at yourself before just judging others.
I happen to be one of those "upper" people and I think that I'm a nice guy. Notice that I just try to reason with you rather than just rant and rant. True you have people who are jerks, but some people are actually really nice up there. klinky, RadicalEd0, Corran Productions to name a few all have kindly helped new people on this site. no flaming, no harsh words.

So if you say that people have a stick up their ass, look at your own backside. How immature can you get taking to time to actually make that pic.

I've been noted. I feel special ^^

Actually I play both sides. Spam and help, but I do it where they are wanted. I guess some people are immature though even by the off topic forum standards... *drags self to bed...*

anime fan/spammer X
I try to not help people, but I also try to encourage posting, and failing that, post for no reason, like in the general music thread "match the user with the song" and stuff like that.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

well, i hover round and help ppl as as much as possible, yes even the "annoying n00bs" (i remember what its like to be an annoying n00b) as long as they dont ask a blatantly idiotic question like "whats premiere" and i also brainstorm and propose ideas where only my common sense can direct me (as in, i know jack-all about the topic, i just stab in the dark) but i hvae to agree with the almighty panda. O btw, Panda, i have your Cowboy Bebop-Giving in and Evangelion:Chemicals vids in my collection. Very, very good work they are. Envious am I.

Hey, why the fuck am i talkin like yoda.....?

aw well. i just hate it when people stereotype. call it a character flaw of mine....MAJOR character flaw. maybe its 'cause im libra.

and im only 168 cm so no i'm short. :D

and looking back i kinda regret stuff at times. i'm human, i make my share of mistakes. but that shot at the mods was a bit over the top.

wow.

I actually got a forum member to listen to the sense in my words!! I'm mindblown!!

No, but seriously, i know exactly what you mean. Being pigeonholed (placed in a certain bracket or classification due to your likes and dislikes and attitudes being a stereotypical image [sorry, im just clarifying every comment i make so i dont get bad jokes about my posts]) is never fun.
