Post by NME » Sun Feb 16, 2003 5:59 pm

NMEAMV: let us talk about the ramifications of the larbon report on a post world war II global scale
Lunatic Calm88: or we could......not
NMEAMV: now the larbon report brought up many interesting points about the state of the world
mEISdAVIDp: nah, i'm with nme on this one
Lunatic Calm88: he used to many big words in that statement
NMEAMV: and the global economy in general, with it's decline in recet decades and raise in recent decades also
mEISdAVIDp: dunno what he's talking about, but it sounds fun
Lunatic Calm88: in other words
Lunatic Calm88: the economy went to shit
mEISdAVIDp: hehe of course
Lunatic Calm88: then went out of shit
mEISdAVIDp: that was my plan all along
Lunatic Calm88: then back into it
NMEAMV: the trend set by most global economies is that of a small baby
Lunatic Calm88: lol
NMEAMV: possibly making a mess in his pants
NMEAMV: that representing the worst part of the market
Lunatic Calm88: see
Lunatic Calm88: i told you it involved shit
mEISdAVIDp: is nme really brillant or is he faking it for my benefit?
NMEAMV: which, sadly as outlined in the larbon report
Lunatic Calm88: i think he is just rambling
NMEAMV: Was the major trend in the past 4 decades
NMEAMV: with the introduction of the sixties
NMEAMV: the western world
NMEAMV: saw much more expenditures
Lunatic Calm88: got nuked?
Lunatic Calm88: ok
NMEAMV: on appliances
Lunatic Calm88: uuuum
NMEAMV: things were being modernized
Lunatic Calm88: i hate to break it to you
mEISdAVIDp: (personally, I'm quite fascinated)
Lunatic Calm88: but this isnt a FUCKING TERM PAPER
NMEAMV: and as bruce springsteen might have said
Lunatic Calm88: (personally, I'm quite confused)
NMEAMV: times they we're a changin'
mEISdAVIDp: Springsteen rocks!
Lunatic Calm88: lol
NMEAMV: if we look at the changes in inflation
Lunatic Calm88: woo a famaliar subject
NMEAMV: from the late 1950's
NMEAMV: to early 2000
Lunatic Calm88: i say we kill him
Lunatic Calm88: oh
Lunatic Calm88: wait
mEISdAVIDp: nme, is this for a term paper? if it is, I wanna read it whenever you finish it.
NMEAMV: in 1950 a hamburger had a net cost of 15 cents
NMEAMV: with beef, bun and condiments
NMEAMV: as the dollar values and global market grew
NMEAMV: so did prices
Lunatic Calm88: hey Otaku you still there?
NMEAMV: as time went on
NMEAMV: a hamburger is now about 1 dollar
Lunatic Calm88: or are you being bored to sleep too
NMEAMV: almost a 100% increase
NMEAMV: from the 1950's price
mEISdAVIDp: d00d this is cool. i'm glued to the scrren
mEISdAVIDp: screen*
NMEAMV: now if these trends continue
NMEAMV: in the year 2050
Lunatic Calm88: d00d this is like white noise, it makes you sleep
NMEAMV: a hamburger will cost 2 dollars
NMEAMV: or possibly 2.50
NMEAMV: but thats not to say that something could go horribly wrong with the global beef industry
NMEAMV: which it could
NMEAMV: the wheat which is used to feed the cattle
Lunatic Calm88: but according to the subcalculations of the numaricle distortion of humanity it would cost 1 dollar plus tax
Lunatic Calm88: if you where at Mcdonalds
NMEAMV: and make the bread
Lunatic Calm88: and were ordering off the dolar menue
NMEAMV: but if in 50 years
NMEAMV: We see an increase of 100%
NMEAMV: its safe to say
Lunatic Calm88: we will all die?
NMEAMV: that it in 50 years, would increase by 100% or more
NMEAMV: as beef and grain costs increase
Lunatic Calm88: all this over a hamburger?
NMEAMV: and farmable land decreases
NMEAMV: I'm using a hamburger as a model
mEISdAVIDp: yeah, ain't it cool
Lunatic Calm88: lol
NMEAMV: for the facts put forward in the larbon report
Lunatic Calm88: so i noticed
mEISdAVIDp: i'm actually understanding this and it's fascinating.
NMEAMV: which shows the gradual residual economic breakdown of the global markets
mEISdAVIDp: but one question, what exactly is the larbon report?
Lunatic Calm88: and how much crack do i need to take to understand it
Lunatic Calm88: lol
Pwolfamv has entered the room.
Pwolfamv: O.O
Lunatic Calm88: my sentiments exactly
OtakuProductions: hi hi
Pwolfamv: yo
Lunatic Calm88: hey pwolff
Lunatic Calm88: i dont know you
NMEAMV: the larbon report is a report put out by larbon and shutster
NMEAMV: a major economic consulting firm
mEISdAVIDp: is this for a term paper?
Lunatic Calm88: who is larbon and shtster
Lunatic Calm88: *shutster
NMEAMV: that offers services to many services to large companies such as mattel
NMEAMV: and microsoft
NMEAMV: they are the foremost finanacial instution
NMEAMV: in the western world
Lunatic Calm88: oh.....
NMEAMV: for consulting and the like
Lunatic Calm88: ok
NMEAMV: the larbon report is a report outlining the past 50 years of the market
NMEAMV: and their trends
Lunatic Calm88: and this pertains to meeee how?
NMEAMV: and possible future impacts
mEISdAVIDp: quite, I'm listening
mEISdAVIDp: quiet*
Lunatic Calm88: lol
NMEAMV: the future impacts all of us
Lunatic Calm88: but im not making noise, im typing
NMEAMV: weather or not it matters to you now
NMEAMV: it will in the future
mEISdAVIDp: nme, why did you bring it up?
Lunatic Calm88: ok
NMEAMV: as the state of the global ecomonmy effects us all
Lunatic Calm88: well......our plea for sanity was answered.......
mEISdAVIDp: indeed
NMEAMV: This is by far one of the most important reports filed in the past 2 decades about the financial state of the world
Lunatic Calm88: i say, we drop money and we all live off of MRE's
NMEAMV: the larbon report is so important that it will be discussed at every major cabinet meeting this year in the US senate and Canadian house of commons
Lunatic Calm88: and we all get 3 MRE's a day
Lunatic Calm88: and thats it
Lunatic Calm88: ok
NMEAMV: the remifications of the future will effect us all
NMEAMV: and there is no getting around it,
mEISdAVIDp: amen
Lunatic Calm88: its called death
NMEAMV: it is better to arm yourself with the truth
NMEAMV: and facts to understand the global economy now
mEISdAVIDp: nme is now my hero
Lunatic Calm88: lol
NMEAMV: than when you're 40 and haven't got any money saved or planned in an RRSP or mult fund.
Lunatic Calm88: so what your tryin to tell me, is that the world is goin to shit in the futer and you want me to know and expect that
Lunatic Calm88: *future
NMEAMV: yeah
NMEAMV: and then
NMEAMV: the economy will go up again
NMEAMV: followed by going down again
Lunatic Calm88: so it will get worse before getting better
mEISdAVIDp: sorta like a sin curve?
mEISdAVIDp: sine*
CTC Koopiskation: sine :O
NMEAMV: yes, that is outlined in the larbor report
Lunatic Calm88: and i probably wont live long enough to see this in effect
NMEAMV: there will be a second world bank crash
NMEAMV: like in 1927
mEISdAVIDp: then be quiet and let those who will live long enough listen!
Lunatic Calm88: lol
Lunatic Calm88: ok fine
Lunatic Calm88: ill shut up
NMEAMV: isn't this amazing?

Intriguing, but the dramatic change in the way that the market has worked over the past decade alone is so substantial that the thought of judging the next 50 years of the world economy based on the past 50 years seems somewhat flawed. Who knows what new technology will bring.

Perhaps something involving a radically more efficient means of farming. Maybe all that cloning research they've been doing, or the synthesized meats that KFC has been producing.
