look no self respecting British or in fact European would EVER say that American Football is the true football and that "our" football is soccer...it's a matter of pride. I've played American footie before and it's pretty cool but Football is the game of England, Britain, Europe and in fact a helluva lotta countries

In soccer, you spend the whole game kicking the ball with your foot, therefore, it's called football

In football, you spend the majority of the game with the ball in your hands, therefore, it should be called "Handball" or "Rugby 2: The Pansie Version"

Handball already exist in the cities (heck, my mom played it when she lived in NYC). I like the sound of Rugby 2 though.
