You're confusing "laid back" with "neutral". Canada would be that way, no doubt  . "Save us from ourselves, eh?!"

Messing with Switzerland is one thing the Swiss ARE passionate about. From what I've read, every building has to have a bomb/fallout shelter in the basement, many Swiss have enough food stockpiled to last a year, there are over 600,000 assault rifles among the populace, all the bridges in have explosive charges, and anti-aircraft guns, artillery, and other weapons of that nature are hidden throughout the countryside (including in the middle of farmers' fields). Plus the Alps aren't conducive to just marching in.

What would the French do? Surrender their way to victory?

Hey,

Try "cook their way to victory," if you haven't tried any good french recipes, you wouldn't know. French food and wine is great.

That may be so, but I think it's clear that the Italians have the French beat cold when it comes to cooking. In my opinion anyway, I love Italian food more than any other countries.

From what I've heard, most all food is better than English cuisine  .
