Me too. Hey Cat, sorry about bein such a dick earlier, I'm just massively stressed with my mobo burning up and in turn not being able to do ANYTHING with M:I, even doing basic ripping and editing... Plus I gots ppl breathin' down my neck about the whole damn thing... I guess I misjudged you and how much you've matured in the last month or so.

My point here is that the whole issue starts when sides are taken.. Now I not saying to everyone that they have taken sides.

My point is that before everyone does take sides and try to lay blaime on the other party. I personally don't know Phade, the Mods or even SpPanda so I really can't take a side just because each claim to be right.. There is always the possiblilty that the whole issue could have been caused by both sides making mistakes.. If so why takes sides....

I am sorry for any Dickly behavior toward you on my part as well. Had I know what kind of stress you were under I would have understood that post. And to be honest, all flame wars I get into (with the exception of this and one other in recent memory) have been started by jace (which I have had 2 or 3 with in the past week) and NDW (who flamed me in the video board.) But don't give me that much credit, I'm still the same Cat I always was.

Honestly, I think this would all be a little more simple if the mods weren't invisible. It would put a little more accountability on their shoulders, as well as giving a face to a mean post, etc. But then again, this is just my $.02 and if I dont like what's on tv(forums) I can always turn it off(leave). Oh well.... now that damn thread has got ME all depressed... bleargh... maybe I just need my meds...

SpPanda, you may have some valid points to be upset about, but you do realize that continuing to pound away at this is eventually going to cause one of the mods or Phade to crack, and ban you again out of sheer irritation, don't you? Perhaps that is what you want, in order to make your point.

Having read SpPanda's page, I think it's pretty clear what all went down.

I haven't forgotten that this is a privately run site, but I can't interpret the situation as it now stands as reflecting well on Phade or the moderators here.

Friendship and personally knowing someone only go so far in terms of recruiting top notch people to mod boards. I mod a board elsewhere, and it's NOT at all an easy job, particularly when someone gets up in your face and provokes you. Keeping your finger off that button can be soo hard sometimes...

I have better spelling most of the time, from what I've seen.

I wish someone would PM me and tell me where these reputed "cool" amv boards I hear about from time to time are, but who am I kidding, I'd never be let in there anyway.

Ah well, this is how it always goes, isn't it?

Well until the the mods and phade and sppanda and hopefully me (I have a big bone to pick with the inviso mods as well as a few issues with phade and his rules being setup.)

Noone takes the forum rules seriously, yesterday Rozard, oen of the oldest members didn't even know what they were. And there is a BIG thing in the ruels about using downloaded footage despite the fact that there are people still here for using it and ADMIT to using it (I myself don't think that downloaded footage is inately evil and there are cases when it should be used.)
And when the mods go breaking the flaming rules. Exactly what kind of example does that set? It shows that they are not mature enough to be watching the boards. And I could go on for days but I need to save some for later.

The mods are invisible to protect them, but it's up to Phade to hold them accountable. This is his website afterall and the Mods are his choice, so really the buck stops at Phade.

Mind you, you can't get angry a Phade for what happened, but it's his job to make a fair call on the situation. I'm sure his door is open for a polite request for oversight on the recent ban of the .ORG member.

even with mod privelages I would still be able to handle myself properly. How dificult is it to just kill a thread or a post? and if someone is given repeated warnings there is nothing wrong with a banning. But tell me furry, you ever gone and changed someones thread title to "I ate penis and it was great!"
